WHY DOES SIMPLICITY SELL LASER PACKAGES ON DEAL SITES?

Simplicity sells laser packages on deal sites such as Groupon, Living Social, Amazon Local and others to introduce new customers to our services. It also allows new customers to try laser hair removal at Simplicity before committing to a full results membership. When a potential client calls in to redeem a deal site voucher, all Simplicity representatives express excitement for the client and let them know they will love the experience.

WHAT IF SOMEONE CALLS IN INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A LASER DEAL THEY SAW ON A DEAL SITE?

Salespeople in the call center may sell them a deal package over the phone by filling out a membership agreement with the deal package details. We call them “package priced promotions” internally. All the same policies as regular deal pakcages apply.

DO CLIENTS HAVE TO PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP TO USE THEIR DEAL VOUCHER?

Clients are not obligated to purchase any membership agreement with their online laser package. However, it is less expensive to buy a membership than to purchase deal site packages for multiple areas.

CAN CLIENTS UPGRADE FROM A SMALLER AREA DEAL TO A LARGER AREA DEAL?

Yes, but only if the client has not used any of the smaller area treatments. If they have used some of the smaller area treatments and want a larger Groupon on a different area or bigger area, they have the option to buy another Groupon or upgrade into a membership on the area.

For example: if a client bought a $79 Groupon for bikini line, and then decided they want to do the large area brazilian for $199, you would deduct $79 from $199 and charge them the difference. If they have already used a treatment they could upgrade into a brazilian membership or purchase the large package priced promotion seperately.

HOW CAN I APPLY DEAL PACKAGE CREDIT TO A MEMBERSHIP UPGRADE?

You can apply the full price of the Groupon to a membership upgrade during the client’s first three appointments. After they have had 3 appointments, you can apply half of the Groupon price to the upgrade.

For the 1 year unlimited Groupon, clients can have their full value applied to a membership within their first 6 appointments. After the 6th appointment, only half of the Groupon price can be applied.

CAN I SPLIT A PACKAGE PRICED PROMOTION INTO MULTIPLE PAYMENTS?

Only $998 unlimited full body Groupons may be split into a maximum of two payments. If clients do not want to pay a large sum upfront, they may be good candidates for month-to-month member- ships, which allows them to try laser with no commitment and small monthly payments.

WHAT IS THE POLICY ON A CLIENT BUYING MULTIPLE GROUPONS?

On Groupon it states that the limit is one per customer. However, we do get some repeat Groupon purchasers. Because Groupon penalizes Simplicity’s Groupon campaign for a large amount of refunds, we will redeem Groupons from previous Groupon purchasers.

However, employees should not tell clients they are able purchase multiple Groupons. If asked, employees should explain that Groupon states the limit is one per customer. Employees should not sell internal “package priced promotion” on the same area to repeat clients.

WHAT AREAS CAN CLIENTS GET TREATED WITH A DEAL PACKAGE?

All deal packages cover the following areas:

  • $79 small area(8 treatments)
  • $129 medium area(6 treatments)
  • $199 large area(6 treatments)
  • $299 extra large area(6 treatments)
  • $998 full body(1 year)
    • Any areas the client would like to have treated.
    • One year begins from the date of the first appointment
